This course was designed wonderfully. The flow of the material and explanations was excellent. The instructor explained what every character meant in each command, and how to find the correct commands and syntax in case you forget.

The speed was just right. I opened up two screens on my computer; one with the course, and the other with Linux Command Prompt. I was able to follow along perfectly for the most part, although the instructor types much faster than I do.

The only thing I didn’t like about the course was that it would give exercises at the end of each lesson, but did not provide and answer key or example of the correct way to answer. There were a few exercises that I did not figure out for that reason despite my google searches.

I have zero experience with Linux, but a small amount of experience with programming. In the beginning, I was wondering if I would ever understand Linux. By the end of the course, I feel far more confident with Linux and like I can at least navigate my way through it, as well as understand certain command prompts.

I believe I have a good baseline to continue learning and expanding my knowledge in Linux. My goal was to become familiar with Linux before pursuing a degree in Cyber Security. While I believe I have a long way to go, I definitely feel more comfortable with the idea of it now.

I just finished the course, and found it informative. The information builds on itself and lots of great examples.
